Additional helpful joint nutrients include soothing foods such as Boswellia and those rich in Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Vitamin C is included for its antioxidant properties that help to neutralise free radicals. Other manufacturers may choose to include other, sometimes peculiar, ingredients to make their formulation different - these ingredients may not be so well researched or proven and may have consequences if fed above certain rates or on a long term basis.
