Activated Charcoal should be fed until your horse's symptoms improve or for a maximum of 1 week. After 1 week, discontinue feeding for 3 weeks before resuming feeding for another 1 week. When following the above feeding regime 1.4kg of Activated Charcoal will last approximately 14 days.

Activated Charcoal is a periodic supplement and should not be fed on a daily basis long term.

If you are in any doubt about your horse or pony's health or condition a vet should be consulted. Activated Charcoal is not a replacement for veterinary advice.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight and split between feeds (when applicable).

Activated Charcoal is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.

Nutrition Information

Activated charcoal is the highly adsorbent carbon left after burning coconut husks. This carbon residue is treated to remove impurities and to increase the adsorption quality of the charcoal. Charcoal is used to bind toxins within the digestive tract and remove them safely from the body, as the charcoal itself is not digested. Ideal to feed to horses who have had a sudden diet change, or those that have been gorging on grass/cereals.
