Dandelion provides excellent support for the liver and kidneys and is high in the vitamins A, B, C and D, and rich in Potassium, Magnesium and Calcium - a natural electrolyte. Dandelion also helps promote joint mobility.

More information:

Dandelion roots and leaves are traditionally used for kidney, liver and digestive issues. They can be useful as a liver tonic to support cleansing and elimination of waste from the body, as a digestive tonic to promote the appetite and improve digestion, and for supporting pancreatitis when under veterinary supervision. Dandelion roots and leaves are best known for their diuretic properties, and, as they contain Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium, they are often the herb of choice for supporting the kidneys when a diuretic action is required.

Dandelion roots and leaves are also a source of vitamins such as A, B, C, and D, and minerals Iron and Copper. Horses have been known to seek out Dandelion in their paddocks, especially digging in the soil for its roots. Dandelion is safe to use long-term and at recommended levels during pregnancy. Dandelion and Clivers fed together make a good spring tonic for animals to help cleanse and re-energise their systems after winter.
