Great product, my horse can be very itchy in the summer months - he rubs his mane and tail. I’ve given him one lot of fly formula and the rubbing has stopped. I have now purchased a new lot and will use this over the summer months every year now.

I started feeding Fly formula when my pony had been bitten quite badly. The formula has helped her skin heal and she hasn’t been bitten since. Really pleased with the formula. But I need to start feeding it earlier in the year and not when the flu season has started.

I’ve been using this for over 3 months and the reduction in fly activity around my horses is now very noticeable. Saving money with less fly spray needed too!

I have fed this for several years and found it extremely effective as one of the tools to keep my pony fly bite free. I start feeding it from the end of February until late autumn. My pony finds it very palatable.

We add this to our Chestnut mare's feed and we notice a reduction in the amount of flies. It seems that there's less garlic in it this year and maybe more lemon but it still smells yummy and does the job!

Our youngster was struggling with midges by the river. It does take a few weeks to work but now so much better and not even wearing a fly rug anymore

Nutrition Information

Fly Formula™ is an oral fly deterring supplement, designed to reduce irritation from flies. When ingested on a daily basis, the pungent aroma of the ingredients passes through the skin to discourage flies.

Garlic granules contain a Sulphur compound, which is secreted through the skin. Insects taste via their feet, and those landing on the horse dislike this Sulphur, and so are less likely to bite the horse. The added Fenugreek seeds potentiate this effect, and along with other aromatic herbs known to be disliked by insects, such as Lemon peel, Peppermint and Rosemary, help to repel unwanted attention. In addition to this, ingredients that optimise skin health, such as Chamomile, Nettle, and Linseed help to soothe any areas affected by pesky flies.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).
