I chose this product for my retired OTTB at the age of 18 after having his shoes taken off. He was really struggling, understandably so, he had probably had shoes on since a 2 year old! After about 10 days on Biotin 15, he really started to walk much better. My farrier can't believe how well he is coping without shoes and how good his feet are! We are now on our 2nd purchase - I have started my old Anglo Arab 21 and young Warmblood 5 on it. Great for all round overall health. Highly reccomend

Excellent service from Feedmark as usual. My mare has been prone to stone bruising and Biotin 15 helps to keep her feet in good shape.

Used Feedmark Biotin 15 after recommendation from our farrier, to assist heel growth and general hoof care
Early days but have been very pleased with results so far - farrier thought we wouldnt see a noticable improvement for 6 months, but has already noticed better heel growth, will definately be using from now on :)

Highly recommend the biotin. Have been using it for a year now from Feedmark and seen a great improvement in my horses feet. Also Feedmark are super quick in delivery.

I used biotin to help my horse with seasonal eye problems. It makes her eyes far more tolerant of irritants.

Very little to feed for maximum results so easy to hide in the smallest of feeds even for fussy eaters.Excellent product helps all my barefoot horses to keep growing good quality hoof

Feeding Guide

1 level (5ml) scoop of Biotin 15 weighs approximately 4g.

Each 4g scoop provides 15mg of actual Biotin. A measuring scoop is provided with this product.

Supplementing the diet with Biotin to help support healthy hoof growth is one way to approach the problem of poor quality hoof horn. Another way is to make sure you are adding the right blend of all the nutrients for healthy hooves.

If your horse has poor shoe retention, brittle, crumbling or cracked hooves or slow hoof growth, Feedmark's Hardy Hoof™ added to the diet will make sure you are adding Biotin plus the other nutrients that help with healthy hoof growth. These ingredients include Copper, Zinc, Calcium, DL- Methionine, Lysine and Yeast. Remember that it takes approximately 9 months for the new hoof horn to grow from the coronary band down to the weight-bearing surface. So, hoof supplements such as Biotin15 and Hardy Hoof™ should be fed daily over the long-term.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Biotin 15 is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.

Nutrition Information

Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin which is naturally occurring in a horse’s diet, and is synthesised by intestinal microbes. Horses with poor hoof quality may require additional vitamins, minerals and amino acids to support good hoof horn growth. One of the nutrients that helps support good hoof health in horses with poor feet is Biotin. Feedmark’s Biotin15 provides 15mg per 5ml scoop.

How much Biotin is provided per scoop?

Each 5ml scoop provides 15mg of Biotin. You can feed twice this recommendation to provide 30mg of Bioin which is the recommended intake for horses with poor hoof quality.

Is this supplement as effective as Hardy Hoof?

Biotin 15 is a cost effective way to support your horses hoof growth, but if your horse's hooves are in poor condition then we would recommend using Hardy Hoof™.
