I use bio pro on my youngster who wolfs her food down, and my laminitic pony to help hos tummy whilst he’s on Bute.

I use many of the Feedmark products because they are such good quality and do what they say on the label. I use the Bio Pro everyday on all of my horses. Good gut and good feet you have a good horse.

Using for a short time so not 100% regarding if effective.
I would mention though that my horse is fussy with any kind of supplement in his feed and I have had no problems with this one.

Love this product - my elderly mare had some tummy issues and this seems to have really helped settle the issue. She has no issues with eating it.

I have a stressy, anxious ex race horse with hind gut ulcers and this product has completely transformed him. Less stressed at competitions, solid poo throughout the day and even in stressful situations. Wont be putting him in anything else now!

Always use biopro for both my horses. Have used it for many years and it is really good for their digestive system now they are older

My horse was suffering with FFWS and the gut balancer I was using wasn’t helping. As I already use Gastric Comfort I approached Feedmark for their advice regarding his FFWS and they suggested I try BioPro in addition to Gastric Comfort. His symptoms have improved greatly and now only has the occasional dribble. I unfortunately ran out of BioPro for 3 days and his symptoms returned albeit not as bad so I know this supplement works for my horse.

My horse really struggled with any change in forage. Any rain on the grass and he would have diarrhoea. The same if his hay gets wet or the grass is lush. With Bio Pro I still have to be careful with how much moisture is in his forage but he has had 7months without diarrhoea.

BioPro™ combines live yeast Yea-Sacc® with the prebiotic FOS.

Horses have evolved to eat a high fibre diet, and this fibrous material is utilised by the horse following the process of fermentation to break it down. This fermentation is undertaken by a number of microorganisms which reside in the hindgut of the horse. The balance of different species is vital in order to keep the hindgut, and hence the horse, healthy, and to allow the horse to get the most from their diet. This balance is easy to upset, and changes in the diet, exercise and management of the horse can have negative impacts on this population, and allow the number of undesirable bacteria to rise. To help keep this delicate environment in peak condition, providing prebiotics (food for the good bacteria), and adding beneficial live yeast in the form of Yea-Sacc® helps to stabilise the population of microorganisms, which allows efficient digestion of fibre, reduces digestive upsets, and helps to maintain optimum digestive health for your horse.

BioPro™ should be fed daily to optimise hindgut health, to older horses, or horses that are poor doers. It can also support horses under increased stress, such as when competing, travelling, or when routine is changing.

1 level (50ml) scoop of BioPro™weighs approximately 24g

BioPro™has been formulated to maximise the utilisation of nutrients in your horse's fibrous feed. It is safe to add to your horse's current ration continuously and alongside regular feed and any other supplements. Please allow at least 7 - 10 days for effects to be seen.

Up to twice the recommended amount can be fed for up to 2 weeks if necessary.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

BioPro™is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.
