Feeding Guide

Weight of Horse/Pony	Amount per day
Up to 400kg	½ scoop
Over 400kg	1 scoop

1 level (5ml) scoop of Magnesium weighs approximately 7g. A measuring scoop is provided with this product.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Magnesium is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.

Magnesium plays an important role in normal nerve and muscle function, helping to regulate nerve signalling, muscle contraction and relaxation, and the body’s response to stress. In horses and ponies, inadequate magnesium intake may contribute to increased nervousness, excitability and tension. Used daily as part of a balanced diet, magnesium can support normal nervous-system function and may help promote a calmer, more relaxed approach to work. Magnesium can help support cells' response to insulin and can assist with metabolism by contributing to the utilisation of fatty acids for energy.
