Horses eat this willingly and it helps put a shine on their coats.

Good product, competitively priced. My cob loves it and his coat is a lot shinier already.

My horse who is 23 years old has the most fantastic coat and I am sure it is because he has Linseed in his dinner every day.

Quality product and great value for money.  I use this to help to keep condition on a 29 year old pony whose teeth are very poor.

Nutrition Information

Micronised linseed is an excellent way of adding Omega-3 fatty acids to the daily diet and is a good source of non-heating energy.  Linseed is also high in digestible protein that supports muscle function and development in combination with exercise.  Micronised linseed also supports the skin promoting a smooth, glossy coat.

Micronised linseed

Crude protein 19.5%, Crude oils & fats 39.0%, Crude fibre 5.5%, Crude ash 3.2%, Sodium <0.1%

How much oil is in Micronised Linseed?

On average, Micronised Linseed contains around 35% oil.

Is there a difference between Linseed and Flaxseed?

Linseed and Flaxseed are names for the same crop.

Why feed Micronised Linseed over Linseed Oil?

Micronised Linseed is easy to feed and is less messy and more palatable than feeding large quantities of oil. Micronised Linseed also contains quality protein which assists with muscle building.
