I have used Echinacea on a couple of horses which had sarcoids.
the results I found after 2 tubs were good, cause they disappeared.
My horse had a bad infection and cough, then he started with a very large abscess under his throat.
Although antibiotics are working, we are poulticing the abscess, which is large and hard. I have now started with Echinacea so hopefully this will also help.

My mare loves it, too early to see any results

Great. We travel horses to shows and always like to boost their immune system. We feel this helps them stay well and fit to compete. We also like to use it before vaccinations.

I have bought many of your products over the years and they are very good.
My friends horse, which I ride had a cough for weeks and we had treatment from our vet.
It seems better, but he coughs occasionally.
We wet our hay, so I thought we would try Echinacea. I have had success with a few horses giving Echinacea. One horse in particular, he had a nasty virus. We used Echinacea and he improved but the sarcoid he had on his back shrunk in size. After his second tub of Echinacea it disappeared. Used it ever since.

Used for years - pony who broke his knee as a foal was expected to be crippled by 10... he’s 17 now and completely sound.  Extra flex HA supports him tremendously

Feeding Guide

Weight of Horse/Pony Amount per day
Up to 400kg ½ scoop
Over 400kg ¾ scoop

1 level (50ml) scoop of Echinacea weighs approximately 15g

Echinacea has traditionally been used internally to optimise the immune system and externally to support the treatment of skin conditions. It has been shown to be useful for a depressed immune system, to aid wound healing when applied topically under veterinary supervision, to have immune modulating activity and helpful with veterinary treatment for chronic bacterial and viral infections. If the immune system is chronically weakened, do not feed Echinacea long term.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Echinacea is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.

Nutrition Information

Echinacea was traditionally used by native Americans for a variety of health reasons such as digestive distress and respiratory health. Echinacea is well-known for its immunosupportive properties and can benefit many horses, especially those in more challenging situations, or horses going through management changes.

My horse seems a bit out of sorts, nothing is obvious, but she seems a bit run down, could this help?

If your horse has been checked by a vet, and is at a healthy weight and on a balanced diet, you could try feeding Echinacea, or ImmunoCharge from our main range to see if this will perk your horse up a bit.
