I started to feed this to see if it would help with sweet itch. So far he seems a bit better so fingers crossed it’s working. Good quality supplement.

Best natural vit e supplement on the market.
I use at a higher dose for a horse with neurological problems.

The nutritional advice from Steph is unrivalled, she really took her time explaining and answering all my questions when I had some interesting bloods back for my boy which showed a Vit E deficiency. We decided to add it into his diet to aid recovery (he is a big growing young event horse) and since doing so, alongside some other tweaks, he is looking and performing better than ever!

My vets recommended that I supplement Vitamin E in my mares diet in order to support muscle development and performance. Some research into the products available made me realise that natural vitamin E is the best product on the market. The improvement in her musculature since starting this product 5 months ago is significant, and I would highly recommend it.

I chose this product as it is pure vitamin E with no added selenium as I need to feed it in high doses to a horse with shivers. I also found it the most cost effective option.

My horse is particularly fussy and will not eat his feed when it has anything different added into it. However, we have had no problems with him taking the Vitamin E supplement.

It’s very reassuring to know that horses on restricted grazing can have this essential vitamin easily fed in a small bucket feed;  and our horse and pony look great on it!

Nutrition Information

Vitamin E is an antioxidant which horses mainly derive from fresh forages and is therefore easily accessible for horses on pasture. If your horse has limited or no access to fresh forages or you are unsure about the vitamin E levels in your horse’s diet, an additional vitamin E supplement can be added to make sure the daily vitamin E requirements of your horse are met.

The natural form of vitamin E has multifunctional purposes in the horse’s body. The main function of vitamin E is to support the neutralisation of free radicals in the body and support the immune system. In addition, vitamin E supports reproductive processes, cellular functions and muscle health due to the potential to decrease oxidative stress. Therefore, it is recommended to increase the daily vitamin E intake by supplementing Natural Vitamin E™ for horses that require liver and muscle support and horses performing heavy work. Due to the multifunctional nature of vitamin E it is also recommended to increase its daily intake to support broodmares and stallions during the breeding season and to support foals health and development.

The natural form of vitamin E, RRR-alpha-tocopherol acetate, is more bioavailable in comparison to synthetic vitamin E, increasing its absorption and optimising its supportive function. Natural Vitamin E™ is suitable for all horses but a higher dosage is especially recommended for horses that need liver and muscle support, horses performing heavy work and for all breeding stock.

Natural Vitamin E™ can be fed in combination with all other supplements from the Feedmark range to increase and optimise levels of vitamin E in the diet.

Why is Natural Vitamin E better than Synthetic sources?

Natural Vitamin E is more bioavailable to the horse and is therefore utilised quicker by the body.

Why does my horse need Natural Vitamin E?

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and helps to neutralise free radicals which can damage cells within the body. Horses in hard work, those with immune or muscle issues, breeding stock and horses with restricted turnout will all benefit from additional Vitamin E in the diet.

Can I feed a higher amount of Natural Vitamin E than is suggested?

Vitamin E has no known toxicity level in horses, therefore it is safe to feed Vitamin E at higher levels when required.
