Nutrition Information

This superior quality natural Cider Apple Vinegar is made from pressed cider apples grown locally in Suffolk, where the whole apple is used to make the vinegar. Historically, Cider Apple Vinegar has been used to support joint, artery and overall health.  It is important to obtain Cider Apple Vinegar that has been pressed from the whole apple so all the nutrients from the apple remain. Apples are rich in Potassium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Iron and Calcium to name but a few. It can also be used topically to soothe skin conditions.

Feeding Guide
Weight of Horse/Pony Approx. Height Amount per day
Up to 400kg/880lb Under 14hh 25ml
Over 400kg/800lb Over 14hh 50ml

Cider apple vinegar can also be used externally, directly on insect bites, or diluted in water, as a skin rinse for those horses prone to skin irritation. Dilute 2 tablespoons in 1L of water to use as a mane, tail or body rinse.

An increase in humidity or wet weather may cause moisture to be trapped close to the skin and may cause normal skin bacteria to proliferate.  A daily cider apple vinegar rinse after riding may help to discourage bacterial growth during humid or wet weather conditions.  Or, use the rinse on areas of your horse's skin prone to being moist, such as the skin on lower legs of feathered horses.  The cider apple vinegar rinse may help to change the skin pH enough to discourage excessive bacterial growth of the normal skin's flora.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight; height has been given as a guide.  Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Cider Apple Vinegar is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals.  Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.
