Have used this for a month now and my horse does seem to be moving more freely so I will continue to use it.

I’ve only been using it for about 2 weeks so it’s difficult to say but my horse does seem to be moving more easily. It’s a bit fiddly to use having the 2 bags but not a big deal. I’ll definitely continue using it and buy another months worth.

Nutrition Information

Boswellia is a genus of plants that produce resin within their trunk and branches. This resin has been shown in humans and animals to have medicinal properties that support mobility and that soothe the digestive and respiratory systems (Borrelli et al., 2006; Sengupta et al., 2008; Roy et al., 2019). These beneficial properties are due to boswellic acids contained within the resin, with certain boswellic acids having greater beneficial effects than others. One boswellic acid in particular, 3-O-acetyl-11-keto-ß-boswellic acids, abbreviated to AKBA, has been shown to be particularly potent and effective in down-regulating the body's inflammatory response (Roy et al., 2019). Boswellium™ contains an extract of Boswellia serrata containing 80% boswellic acids and 10% AKBA, meaning you know exactly how much of these important compounds your horse is consuming, and making Boswellium™ the highest specification Boswellia equine supplement on the market.

Boswellium™ doesn't stop at providing concentrated boswellic acids, it also delivers them in a formulation that promotes their absorption. Studies indicate that absorption of boswellic acids is increased when fed in conjunction with Piperine, a component of Black Pepper, and alongside a source of fat (Sterk et al., 2004; Vijayarani et al., 2020). As such, Boswellium™ uses an innovative two-part formulation that combines boswellic acids with Black Pepper extract and high-fat Linseed to enhance absorption. The formulation is also vegan meaning you can feed your horse as nature intended.

Boswellium™ can be fed to all horses and ponies to support joint function and skin health, soothe the digestive tract and optimise respiratory function.

Due to the nature of the ingredients in Boswellium™, keep the product dry until just before feeding.

Do not mix the two parts of the product together as this may cause clumping – keep each part in their bag.

Periodically shake product before feeding to reduce ingredient settling.

Replace lid immediately after use and avoid exposure to liquids.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).
