I have been using fly formula for a few years and it does work. My horse definitely has noticeably less flies etc around him than his field mate who doesn't get this in his feed.

I have been feeding this to my sensitive blue and white cob who seems to attract various biting insects like a magnet. It does help him to cope with the problem and he loves the taste so win, win.

This actually does seem to make a difference. My mare comes up with some terrible hives because of fly bites but this is dramatically reduced once she was having thus twice a day in her good

My pony enjoyed the taste of the supplement and it seems to discourage the flies and other biting insects.

Really seems to help with fly strikes.
VERY palatable for a fussy eater and works out cheaper and more skin friendly than constant sprays

I have been feeding fly formula for approximately a month. It has a lovely smell and my horse likes the taste of it, it’s very palatable. Although flies are still present around him, he doesn’t seem so irritated by them and I have seen no indication of them biting. I use fly formula in conjunction with a natural non chemical fly spray. Hopefully he will have a more comfortable summer this year.
To finish, the quality and value for money of Feedmark products is of the highest standard.

I started using this product at the end of last summer, definitely not so many flies but that could be due to the fact my horses were the only ones left at the yard after others moved on. Have just started using it again this spring, one has virtually no flies on her body but suffers around her eyes, my other is the opposite way round. Be interesting to see if this changes over the next couple of months.
Both horses like the product in their feed, no issues there.

I use this on both my horses and start it early in the year so it really gets into their system. It certainly relives the problem and is very palatable so there is no problem with them eating it.

Nutrition Information

Fly Formula™ is an oral fly deterring supplement, designed to reduce irritation from flies. When ingested on a daily basis, the pungent aroma of the ingredients passes through the skin to discourage flies.

Garlic granules contain a Sulphur compound, which is secreted through the skin. Insects taste via their feet, and those landing on the horse dislike this Sulphur, and so are less likely to bite the horse. The added Fenugreek seeds potentiate this effect, and along with other aromatic herbs known to be disliked by insects, such as Lemon peel, Peppermint and Rosemary, help to repel unwanted attention. In addition to this, ingredients that optimise skin health, such as Chamomile, Nettle, and Linseed help to soothe any areas affected by pesky flies.

Feed supplements should be fed according to body weight. Introduce to the horse's diet gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable).

Fly Formula™is a complementary feeding stuff for equine animals. Feedmark uses nothing in the formulation of this product that contravenes competition rules.
