Omega Oil is 100% linseed oil, which provides one of the highest natural amount of Omega-3 in a vegetable based source. Omega-3 is known as an essential fatty acid, meaning that they are essential in the diet, as the horse cannot produce them itself. Essential fatty acids, such as Omega-3 play vital roles in the body, including supporting skin and coat health, and Omega-3 in particular plays a role in normal inflammatory responses, and as such can also benefit joint health.
