We’ve been using Activet for our traditional cob mare for several years due to a tendency towards locking stifles and not only does she continue to be moving well into her senior years, she has recovered extremely well from two challenging tendon injuries sustained in the field last year and continues to be sound.

Have only given 4 as not been on it long enough, around 10 days so far, to give an accurate picture. She is eating it with no issue.
I’m hopeful after a few more weeks I will see a difference

It was recommended due to horse developing arthritis, he has Activet every day and it seems to really help

Activet helps all of my older horses. They are obviously more comfortable and less stiff at the beginning of work. It’s very easy to feed and palatable.

My big boy takes this happily in his feed so that’s a win , and he is moving a lot easier since he started on this We are on our 2nd tub and will keep him on it

How quickly will I see a difference?

This will differ depending on your horse. Joint supplements can take different amounts of time to have effect on different horses, with some horses seeing benefits very quickly. We always suggest that you feed a supplement for at least 4 weeks at the recommended serving rate for your horse’s weight to see how they respond.

What makes ActiVet™ ideal for older horses?

Alongside the need for joint support, veteran horse can also need support for tight or tired muscles. Therefore, alongside joint supporting ingredients, we have included Vitamin E, Selenium, and Magnesium, which help to maintain function within the horse's muscles.

Is ActiVet™ only for older horses?

Should ActiVet™ be fed on a daily basis, or can I just feed it when my horse is being worked hard that day?
